As a Mental Health Counselor at Carriage Wellness, your role entails a variety of responsibilities aimed at fostering mental health improvements in clients:

• Utilize evidence-based mental health therapy techniques tailored to individual and family needs, addressing diagnosed emotional and behavioral disorders.
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments leading to the formulation of personalized treatment and initial discharge plans.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions in alignment with clients’ treatment goals.
• Provide ongoing treatment planning, adjusting as necessary based on periodic assessments and the evolving needs of clients.
• Document all therapy services rendered in compliance with facility and professional standards to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain a manageable caseload while actively participating in treatment team meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary staff to optimize patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate a positive, compassionate approach when addressing clients' concerns and feedback.
• Recognize and prioritize patient safety in all therapeutic engagements while remaining adaptable to changing client needs.
• Engage in additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by program leadership.

This role primarily serves a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults experiencing various emotional and behavioral challenges. At Carriage Wellness, you will have the opportunity to work with clients from different backgrounds, utilizing a collaborative approach to tailor treatment plans that resonate with their unique experiences and goals.

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current licensure in the State of Texas as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in therapeutic practice.

Ideal candidates will possess:

• A minimum of two years of experience providing mental health counseling services, preferably in outpatient settings.
• A proven ability to work effectively with diverse client populations, demonstrating cultural competence and empathy.
