• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history and to inform the treatment planning process.
• Develop tailored, individualized treatment plans with specific goals focused on facilitating trauma recovery, resilience-building, and emotional growth.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring that various modalities are catered to the individual needs of each patient.
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process trauma experiences, build coping strategies, and cultivate a sense of healing and hope.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, holistic care to all patients.
• Offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, providing immediate assistance and ongoing care.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma impacts, coping mechanisms, and resources available to support healing objectives.
• Ensure accurate and confidential documentation of all patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings aimed at enhancing team cohesion and refining trauma-informed care practices.
• Maintain current knowledge of best practices and advancements in trauma therapy techniques through continuing education and professional development activities.

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele affected by trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and related challenges. Our clients vary in age, background, and socioeconomic status, and your expertise in evidence-based therapeutic practices will serve to empower them in their recovery process. Your focus on building therapeutic relationships will foster trust and facilitate meaningful healing work, making a lasting difference in their lives.

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Must hold current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to care.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to patient-centered service.
• Proficient technical skills, including familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling setting, preferably with trauma-focused therapy.
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations, providing effective crisis intervention when necessary.
• Experience engaging in multidisciplinary team collaborations to provide comprehensive care to clients.
