As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual mental health assessments and therapy sessions through secure video chat platforms.
• Implementing evidence-based, solution-focused treatment modalities tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Developing and updating comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that align with clinical best practices and client goals.
• Facilitating discussions that allow clients to gain deeper insights into their thoughts, feelings, and interpersonal relationships.
• Tracking client progress throughout their treatment and making necessary adjustments to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
• Assisting clients in cultivating healthy coping mechanisms to navigate life challenges effectively.

Your primary focus will be on serving stable, low acuity adults presenting with various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress management, and adjustment issues. The objective is to guide these clients in developing necessary skills to enhance their quality of life through empathetic and solution-driven therapy.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current, valid license to practice independently as a mental health counselor, which may include:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• No limited or provisional licenses and no disciplinary actions on record.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to client care.
• Proficiency in digital communication tools and electronic health records management.

Experience with telehealth platforms and previous work in a remote counseling environment are highly desirable. Familiarity with modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) may also enhance your candidacy.
