• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments using standardized diagnostic tools to identify patient needs and formulate effective treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual patient needs, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, providing a safe space for individuals, couples, and families to discuss common mental health concerns and share experiences.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention during emergencies, helping patients navigate acute episodes and offering immediate support.
• Educate patients on mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and the array of community resources available to them.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the highest level of care and compliance.
• Actively participate in case consultations and dynamic team meetings to enhance collective knowledge and patient outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through continuing education opportunities, staying updated on the latest advancements in mental health practices.

This role involves working with a diverse patient population, including individuals from various socio-economic backgrounds. You will provide care to adolescents and adults grappling with mental health disorders, ensuring an inclusive environment that respects each patient's unique challenges and backgrounds.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• Demonstrable knowledge of mental health disorders and proven expertise in applied therapeutic techniques.
• Exceptional skills in conducting thorough mental health assessments and crafting effective treatment strategies.
• Ability to employ therapeutic modalities with individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that foster rapport and trust with patients.
• Commitment to ethical practice, sound judgment, and professional boundaries at all times.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and commitment to maintaining accurate patient documentation.

• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling.
• Experience working in an outpatient psychiatric setting is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with managing a range of mental health conditions, including but not limited to trauma, PTSD, and substance abuse disorders.
