Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional health, evaluating individual needs, goals, and concerns.
  • Formulate and implement tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients, integrating evidence-based practices throughout the therapeutic process.
  • Facilitate individual therapy sessions for clients of all ages, addressing various mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to life transitions and relationship challenges.
  • Provide couples therapy aimed at improving communication skills, conflict resolution, and relationship satisfaction.
  • Regularly monitor client progress, reviewing and adjusting treatment plans to reflect their evolving needs and achievements.
  • Document each session thoroughly, maintaining accurate client records, progress notes, and treatment strategies in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and healthcare providers to offer holistic, multifaceted care to clients.
  • Communicate openly with clients and their families, ensuring a coordinated approach to their treatment journey.
  • Prepare to provide crisis intervention support for clients in acute distress or during emergencies.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated on the latest research and best practices in marriage and family therapy.
  • Advocate for client rights and well-being, empowering them to participate actively in their treatment decisions.
  • Support clients in accessing additional resources and services as needed, promoting their overall well-being and recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, children, and families from various cultural backgrounds. Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges between USD 90,000 and 105,000.
