Position Overview

The Presence Multicultural Counseling Center is seeking dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our dynamic team in a fully remote, full-time capacity. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional health, identifying their specific needs, issues, and treatment goals.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and in collaboration with clients.
• Provide direct therapy services, including individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices grounded in engagement, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Regularly monitor and adjust treatment plans to reflect client progress and evolving needs.
• Maintain detailed, up-to-date client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and compliance with documentation standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care and refer clients to additional services as needed.
• Deliver crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in marriage and family therapy to enhance service delivery.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development initiatives.
• Adhere to the highest ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and advocating for clients' rights and informed decision-making.
• Promote self-care and wellness practices for clients to empower them in their therapeutic journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center serves a diverse client population, including individuals and families facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. As an LMFT, you will engage with clients from all walks of life, including children and adults, enhancing your skills and broadening your impact within the community.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field.
• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist from the State Board.
• Proven experience in providing both individual and couples therapy across different age groups.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on timely documentation and assessment completion.
• A deep understanding of the legal and ethical guidelines governing therapy practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a community health clinic environment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with teletherapy and remote therapy practices.
• Experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution within therapeutic settings.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
