Job description

  • Position: Scheduling RN (This position involves scheduling, care coordination, and virtual pre-admission testing.)
  • Location: Hybrid - mostly remote (MUST live in DFW area)
  • Shift: Full-time, Days, 8x5s or 4x10s, M-F
  • Experience: 5 years or more of strong RN experience required. 2 years of cardiac experience required. Must be comfortable with technology and call center software. Strong communication skills is very important. 
 

Approximately 2-4 weeks onsite, then transition to remote workspace with BSW issued equipment per BSW Remote Work policy.  Training will continue for approximately 4 additional weeks once remote.  Additional onsite training may be required throughout the first 3-6 months and will be coordinated with advance notice.

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse, oversee patient care using a professional practice model. Responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. Secure patient travel. Know about patient needs in healthcare. Help patients and prevent issues. Follow the Texas Nursing Practice Act and delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.

  • You'll use different strategies for problem-solving with patients, families, and staff. Recognize limitations and prioritize safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care planning and delivery.
