A New Start Counseling, LLC is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. This full-time position is primarily remote, allowing you to provide essential mental health support to our clients in a hospice care setting located in Sparks, Nevada. This role is designed to be performed remotely, giving our Licensed Clinical Social Workers the flexibility to support clients from the comfort of their own spaces. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individualized therapeutic services to patients experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including grief, depression, and anxiety related to life-limiting illnesses.
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams comprising medical professionals, nurses, and other specialists to create and implement personalized care plans that address both emotional and physical health needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients, including psychosocial evaluations, and maintain accurate documentation of treatment progress and adjustments in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide education and resources to patients and their families, assisting them in understanding and coping with the emotional implications of health care decisions and end-of-life issues.
  • Facilitate support groups and workshops to foster community and connection among patients and their families dealing with similar struggles.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve individuals receiving hospice care. Patients may be dealing with terminal illnesses and significant health challenges that necessitate not only medical intervention but also emotional and psychological support. Qualifications
  • Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited program.

Compensation and Benefits
