As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will work from the comfort of your home, engaging with clients through our secure telehealth platform. • Conduct comprehensive, culturally sensitive assessments for new clients, focusing on their unique strengths and challenges.
• Provide individualized therapy sessions, as well as family therapy, that address specific patient needs and foster resilience.
• Prepare and manage documentation, including treatment plans and insurance authorizations, ensuring completion within established deadlines.
• Develop and implement crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans to support patient stability and growth.
• Create thoughtful discharge plans that enable smooth transitions for clients as they progress in their treatment journey.
• Adhere strictly to federal and state mental health regulations, as well as our internal policies, to protect both clients and the organization.
• Commit to ongoing professional development through training and continuing education opportunities.
• Engage in regular case consultation and agency meetings, contributing to a culture of shared knowledge and collaborative problem-solving.
• Complete all licensure and mandatory training as required to maintain your credentials.

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. Our approach emphasizes understanding the unique cultural backgrounds of each client, which informs the therapeutic process and helps build trust and rapport.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field resulting in licensure.
• Current licensure as a mental health therapist in the State of Kansas (e.g., LCPC, LCMFT, LCSW).

• Experience with telehealth service delivery, particularly in mental health settings.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches and tools.
• Background in working with diverse populations, enhancing cultural competency in therapy.
