The Neuro Behavioral Center is actively seeking dedicated and passionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our dynamic clinical team. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be instrumental in providing mental health diagnoses and therapeutic interventions. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments for individuals and couples, taking into account familial dynamics.
  • Developing personalized treatment plans that address specific issues such as grief, loss, and communication difficulties.
  • Facilitating therapy sessions with multiple family members, combining group and individual therapy approaches.
  • Providing support for various challenges, including marital conflicts, blended family issues, separation, divorce, and substance abuse.
  • Documenting client progress and treatment outcomes accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for clients, leveraging a holistic approach to treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will include working with a diverse population of clients, ranging from adults and couples to children and adolescents. Individuals seeking assistance will often present with complex family dynamics and a variety of mental health concerns, requiring sensitivity and skillful intervention. You will play a vital role in creating a safe therapeutic environment where clients feel understood and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

Qualifications

The successful candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

  • Active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide individual and couple's counseling effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to foster therapeutic relationships.
Preferred Experience

In addition to the required qualifications, experience in handling issues such as domestic violence, addiction counseling, and trauma-informed care will be highly valued.
