About the Job

Medical Technologist

Role Description Location: Arlington, TX

We are looking for a Medical Technologist. This position provides clinical laboratory services to patients in accordance with accepted practices and Departmental and Hospital standards of care.

In fulfilling these duties, the incumbent performs the following responsibilities:

  • Performs chemical, bacteriological, serological, and microscopic procedures in one or more functions of laboratory sections.
  • Maintains records of performance as defined in the Laboratory's general and sectional policy and procedure manuals.
  • Performs all services that are necessary for job performance, which include but are not limited to neurological disorders and stroke, oncologic and cardiac services.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Certifications:

  • Must have Clinical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Technologist (ASCP) with a Bachelors Degree.
  • Board of Registry examination (ASCP)
  • 1 year of recent Medical Technologist experience in acute care required
  • For recent graduates of a medical technology program, the (1) year internship will suffice.
  • Schedule: 7-10 hours Night shifts (most likely)
