This remote position allows for a flexible work environment while maintaining a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will collaborate with a network of health professionals dedicated to fostering a virtual workplace that respects work-life balance and prioritizes professional development. • Conduct detailed assessments to identify the needs of students and their families, establishing personalized care plans that promote mental health and well-being.
• Provide virtual counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, to address behavioral and emotional challenges faced by clients in an educational context.
• Assist clients in navigating various available resources, including educational support, crisis intervention programs, and community services.
• Document all interactions and updates in the client management system, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards while contributing to ongoing quality improvement initiatives within our organization.
• Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations to discuss client progress, share best practices, and strategize on effective interventions.

This role primarily focuses on school-aged children and adolescents, supporting them through various emotional, behavioral, and social challenges. The impact of mental health on a young person’s education and development often requires tailored, compassionate intervention. • A Master of Social Work (MSW) degree is mandatory, along with a valid LCSW license in the state of California.
• At least 2 years of experience in clinical or fieldwork, ideally within a mental health or educational setting.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain productivity in a remote work environment.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, families, and colleagues.

• Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology for delivering remote therapy.
• Experience working specifically in school environments or with children and adolescents, utilizing a trauma-informed approach.
• Knowledge of community resources tailored to support mental health and educational needs.
