• Establish and nurture a positive, trusting rapport with clients to create a therapeutic alliance essential for effective treatment.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health disorders and create individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and circumstances.
• Facilitate counseling sessions for individuals, couples, and families, focusing on therapeutic techniques that encourage open communication and resolution of conflicts.
• Regularly meet with clients to monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide ongoing therapeutic support to ensure continual improvement.
• Conduct regular follow-up assessments to evaluate patient progress, ensuring to document developments accurately and communicate them with relevant healthcare professionals when referrals may be necessary.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities to address a variety of concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and behavioral health challenges.

As an LMFT at John Community Health Network, you will work closely with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing challenges related to mental health disorders, substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, and more. You will be instrumental in providing therapeutic support to families navigating complex dynamics, and your insights will guide couples in enhancing their relationships. Your expertise will help empower clients to overcome their struggles, improve their overall well-being, and contribute positively to their communities.

• Possession of a valid LMFT license in the state of California.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Proven therapeutic skills and exceptional communication abilities to foster an engaging, supportive environment for clients.
• Experience with evidence-based practices for treating addiction and co-occurring disorders is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated knowledge of therapeutic methodologies and an ability to motivate clients toward recovery and self-improvement.

• Experience in outpatient therapy settings with a solid history of working with various client demographics.
• Specialized training in addiction counseling, trauma-informed care, and family therapy methodologies.
• Adept at using telehealth platforms to effectively reach and support clients in a remote environment.

John Community Health Network offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Benefits include:
