This position operates in a remote telehealth setting, allowing you to provide therapy from the comfort of your own home while reaching clients throughout Thousand Oaks, California, and beyond. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a supportive work-life balance conducive to both professional and personal growth.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' backgrounds and challenges, creating tailored therapy plans that address their unique needs.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions through virtual platforms, using evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to promote healing and change.
• Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Provide clients with effective coping strategies and resources, enabling them to manage their symptoms and achieve their personal goals.
• Collaborate with other professionals as needed, maintaining a holistic approach to client care involving community resources, when appropriate.

The clients you will work with encompass a diverse range of backgrounds and challenges. You will provide care for adults experiencing various mental health issues, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and adjustments related to life transitions. Your culturally responsive approach is crucial in building rapport and ensuring that all clients feel understood and supported.

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current California licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC.
• Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a counseling setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive connections with clients.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for documentation and client management.

• Experience with telehealth platforms and an understanding of the nuances of delivering care remotely.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches.
• Experience working with diverse populations and the ability to adapt your therapeutic approach accordingly.
