Part-Time Modular Inspector - Remote

What are we looking for?

The Modular Inspector is responsible for Inspection of Modular Construction in client factory facilities. This person will travel weekly and must be willing to travel internationally for extended periods of time. This position will travel at least 90% of the time. 

Shift/Schedule: First shift weekly

Salary & Benefits Information

The base wage or salary range for this position is $25/hour.

What you'll do:

  • Travel domestically and internationally working with clients in the modular industry.
  • Inspect and review quality control procedures and manuals for the specific facility per the state program of unit destination as well as evaluate QC program effectiveness to determine compliance.
  • Inspect various building types per the approved plans as well as per the QCM and state rules and regulations.
  • Produce a report that details modules inspected and any issues identified.
  • Conduct entrance and exit meetings with the client to discuss any findings.
  • Work with senior staff and fill in any gaps needed.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

  • High School Degree (College degree preferred) 
  • Driven Individual wanting to peruse a career in building inspections and in the modular industry.
  • Ability to take and pass ICC Inspection Exams
  • Willing to travel weekly domestically and internationally
  • Valid driver's license and reliable driving record is required. 
  • This is a remote position; however, applicants must reside in and be able to legally work in the United States.
