Job description

Design, support, and scale the networks that connect NEP around the world.

NEP Group is seeking a Senior Network Engineer / Network Architect to help grow, secure, and maintain our global network infrastructure. In this highly visible role, youll support a multi-location LAN/WAN environment with enterprise-level availability requirements while helping design and integrate networks that support future growth, acquisitions, and evolving technologies.

What You'll Do:
  • Maintain and support a multi-location LAN/WAN and converged network environment, meeting high availability and uptime standards

  • Manage global network administration, including configuration, maintenance, security, and telecom implementations

  • Partner with global broadcast teams to understand their environments and ensure seamless connectivity to the corporate network

  • Design and evolve network architecture, including LAN/WAN, wireless, data center networking, security, and remote access (VPN / ZTNA)

  • Support network and voice integrations related to acquisitions and business expansion

  • Plan, test, and implement network upgrades and enhancements in collaboration with vendors

  • Maintain network security controls, access policies, and technical documentation

  • Collaborate with IT teams across the globe to integrate and manage shared network environments

  • Provide third-tier technical support for complex network issues

  • Participate in on-call support rotations, with occasional travel to NEP locations as needed

What You Need:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

  • CCNA certification or equivalent hands-on experience

  • 10+ years of network engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead role

  • Significant hands-on experience with:

    • Fortinet firewalls

    • Cisco switching and routing

    • ZTNA and secure remote access environments

  • Expert knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF)

  • Experience supporting AWS cloud networking

  • Familiarity with network management and monitoring tools such as Entuity, FortiManager, and NetBox

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • A customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
