This position is entirely remote, offering you the flexibility to work from home while maintaining the ability to connect with clients in a virtual setting. You will primarily work within educational frameworks, collaborating with teachers and school administrators to support children and teenagers facing mental health challenges. The role may involve occasional evening and weekend hours to accommodate school schedules and meet the needs of your clients, ensuring accessibility to vital services.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and create individualized treatment plans that align with therapeutic objectives.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family counseling sessions, utilizing therapeutic modalities that best fit the client’s circumstances.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress towards established treatment goals, ensuring adjustments are made as necessary to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and educational staff to provide wraparound support for clients.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies to assist clients experiencing acute emotional distress, enabling them to stabilize and regain control over their situations.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all client interactions, treatment interventions, and progress notes in accordance with professional standards and legal regulations.
• Stay updated with the latest mental health research, best practices, and therapeutic trends, actively incorporating new knowledge into your practice.

Your primary focus will encompass a diverse range of clients, including children and adolescents struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and adjustment disorders related to life changes, such as family transitions and school-related stressors. Your empathetic approach will help to create a safe space for clients to explore their feelings and develop coping strategies, fostering resilience and emotional well-being.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program is a must.
• A current and valid Arizona state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective relationships with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• The capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
