Account Executive Cybersecurity (Hunter | B2B | Regulated Markets)
About the InfoSight
InfoSight is a specialized Cybersecurity & Risk Management firm delivering 24x7 MDR/SOCaaS, security assurance & consulting, risk management, and regulatory compliancefocused on regulated industries and critical infrastructure (healthcare, energy, utilities, financial services, and public sector).
This is a true net-new, full-cycle Account Executive position. You will own the entire sales process at the executive level: pipeline creation, consultative/risk-based engagement, and deal execution from first touch to close. This is not transactional IT salesit's strategic, executive cybersecurity selling.
Role Responsibilities:
Self source and build a qualified pipeline within targeted verticals
Open C suite conversations through strategic outbound and multi-threaded prospecting
Lead executive discovery that translates cybersecurity risk into business and financial impact
Collaborate with presales and advisory teams to design and position managed security and risk solutions
Drive complex SOC, advisory, and risk engagements through procurement to close
You will be supported by Marketing and a BDR, but success in this role depends on your ability to create urgency, build executive trust, and win new logos in long, consultative sales cycles.
What Were Looking For
We are seeking a proven B2B cybersecurity sales hunter who thrives in complex, consultative environments and knows how to build pipeline from scratch.
Core Experience and Capabilities
5+ years selling cybersecurity or IT services
Experience selling MSSP, SOC, MDR, compliance, governance, or risk management solutions
Consistent track record of exceeding quota through outbound prospecting
Proven ability to sell complex, non commodity solutions into regulated industries
Experience navigating multi stakeholder buying committees
Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory drivers
Ability to translate cyber risk into clear business and financial impact
Executive presence with strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self motivated, competitive, disciplined, and accountable in pipeline development
Nice to Have
OT or ICS security sales experience
Experience selling into public utilities, healthcare, or financial services
Familiarity with frameworks such as HIPAA, NERC CIP, PCI DSS, GLBA, or FFIEC
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
