• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, history, and therapeutic goals, utilizing standardized tools and clinical judgment.
• Facilitate individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, employing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and narrative therapy to address diverse client issues.
• Collaboratively design and implement personalized treatment plans, adapting interventions based on clients' progress and evolving needs.
• Maintain an ongoing therapeutic relationship, providing consistent support and guidance to clients as they navigate their recovery journeys.
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards, confidentiality, and legal guidelines while documenting treatment progress and outcomes thoroughly in our electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Engage in continuous professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to remain knowledgeable about best practices and new therapeutic techniques.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client cases and enhance collaborative care strategies.
• Develop and share practical strategies and resources to assist clients in navigating day-to-day challenges associated with mental health and recovery.

The LCSW will primarily work with clients in a detox center environment, offering support to individuals grappling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. Our clientele often includes adults from various backgrounds, each bringing unique challenges and goals for their mental health journey.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Possession of an active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Connecticut.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience, particularly in settings that engage with diverse populations and mental health challenges.
• Strong proficiency in clinical skills such as assessment, treatment planning, and intervention delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate empathy effectively and foster trust with clients.

• Experience working within detox or substance abuse treatment settings is highly preferred.
