  • Utilize evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate symptom relief and enhance coping mechanisms.
  • Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, therapeutic options, and foster healthy self-care practices.
  • Monitor client progress diligently, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide integrated care that addresses both mental and physical health needs.
  • Engage in continuous professional development by staying informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will primarily focus on individuals and families dealing with relationship issues, particularly those related to divorce and marital conflicts. Qualifications
  • An active and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
