• Assess clients' situations accurately and evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms through comprehensive evaluations.
• Design and implement customized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs, preferences, and goals of clients.
• Utilize evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate symptom relief and enhance coping mechanisms.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, therapeutic options, and foster healthy self-care practices.
• Monitor client progress diligently, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide integrated care that addresses both mental and physical health needs.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment.
• Maintain accurate documentation that complies with all legal and ethical regulations to protect client confidentiality.
• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to share insights and improve service delivery.
• Advocate for mental health awareness and the needs of clients, reducing stigma and supporting their journeys towards recovery.

This role will primarily focus on individuals and families dealing with relationship issues, particularly those related to divorce and marital conflicts. The therapist will work closely with clients experiencing various mood disorders, providing them with tools and strategies to improve their mental health and relational dynamics.

• An active and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, crucial for developing trust and rapport with clients.
• A nonjudgmental and empathetic approach to client experiences, creating a safe space for open dialogue.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively balance therapy sessions and administrative responsibilities.

• Certification or experience in therapeutic modalities such as structural family therapy, strategic therapy, systems therapy, narrative therapy, transgenerational therapy, or communication therapy.
• Experience working with diverse populations and a sensitivity to cultural factors influencing mental health.
