Job Summary:
As the HIM Call Center Representative, you serve as the ambassador and voice for ProMedica's HIM department and myChart support by providing a positive first impression to our patients.
You will effectively communicate the process of obtaining medical records and help myChart users with questions they may have about the app.
In this role, you will keep a record of all requests and be responsible for accepting and posting payments to release of information about patient accounts.

REQUIREMENTS
  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • 2 years' experience in health information management, physician office, clinical or hospital business office, or applicable college education

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
  • Associate degree in Health Information management or related field

  • Current student enrolled in a CAHIIM (Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management) approved program

  • Previous experience with Epic and/or EMR

  • RHIT

Salary Range - $31,200 - $55,744
