This critical role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while working with a demographic that is vital to our community's future—infants and toddlers. This position will be conducted in a remote work setting, allowing for flexible schedules that accommodate the unique needs of our clients and staff. While primarily home-based, occasional visits to local community settings may be necessary to deliver services directly to clients.

As an Early Intervention Social Worker / Clinician, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive multidisciplinary team assessments to evaluate each child’s developmental status.
• Providing hands-on, developmental services tailored to the distinctive needs of children aged 0-3 and their families, incorporating play-based activities to promote engagement and learning.
• Collaborating with families to develop Individual Family Service Plans (IFSP) that outline specific goals and strategies designed to support the child’s development.
• Documenting client progress and service delivery through detailed progress notes, reports, assessments, and correspondence.
• Implementing both individual and group interventions for infants and toddlers at risk of developmental delays, facilitating support across multiple developmental domains such as cognitive, social-emotional, communication, and motor skills.
• Assessing family resources and concerns, while monitoring each child's progress and making necessary adjustments to intervention plans.
• Networking with community partners to provide additional resources and support for families.
• Facilitating parent-child interactions, helping to foster essential developmental skills in a familial context.

Your primary focus will be on serving infants and toddlers from birth to three years old, particularly those who are experiencing or are at risk for developmental delays. This role emphasizes building strong, trusting relationships with families, guiding them in acting as advocates for their children’s needs in an environment of collaborative care. The culturally responsive and individualized service delivery will be at the heart of your practice.

• A valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license.
• Demonstrated experience engaging with infants, toddlers, and their families in therapeutic settings.
• A profound understanding of family systems and the principles of early childhood development.
• Ability to cultivate therapeutic relationships with children, their caregivers, and community stakeholders.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills, coupled with good computer proficiency.
• A commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics.
• A current driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for occasional community visits.

• Experience working in home-based service models and with collaborative care teams is preferred.
• Understanding or experience with bilingual or bicultural families is an added advantage.
