As an LPC, you will work within an outpatient office environment, utilizing digital tools and electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and client management. • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to determine clients' treatment needs and therapy goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions including individual, group, and family therapy using methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Regularly assess clients' progress and adapt therapeutic interventions to maximize effectiveness and facilitate successful outcomes.
• Document client encounters in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, exchanging insights and strategies that enhance patient support.
• Engage in ongoing professional education through workshops and training sessions to stay current with advances in mental health practices.

In this role, you will work with a varied population, addressing a spectrum of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and substance abuse. Your ability to empathize and connect with clients from diverse backgrounds will be crucial in tailoring your approach and fostering a therapeutic alliance. • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely-related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of three years of experience in a counseling or clinical setting.
• Strong grasp of legal and ethical standards applicable to mental health counseling.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills that support effective communication and rapport building with clients.
• Proven experience working collaboratively within a healthcare multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in EMR software and other relevant technologies to manage client interactions and documentation efficiently.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse counseling.
• Previous experience with various therapeutic techniques and an understanding of diverse treatment modalities.

This full-time Licensed Professional Counselor position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
