• Conduct therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, effectively addressing the complex emotional and relational issues that often surface during rehabilitation.
• Perform thorough assessments to identify clients' unique relational dynamics, emotional obstacles, and recovery objectives; tailor treatment plans that reflect both therapeutic and rehabilitative goals.
• Apply family systems theory and various therapeutic techniques to encourage effective communication, develop conflict resolution skills, and introduce healthy coping strategies among clients and their families.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including physical and occupational therapists, to ensure continuity and coherence of care.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention during therapy sessions as needed, particularly in high-stress situations that may arise during a client’s recovery journey.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client records, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical practices.
• Educate clients and their families about the emotional facets of rehabilitation, empowering them with tools for overcoming challenges and reinforcing family connections.
• Stay abreast of advancements in marriage and family therapy through continued professional development and training opportunities specific to rehabilitation-focused practices.

Your primary focus will be on clients undergoing rehabilitation, including individuals and families facing mental health challenges, addiction recovery, and emotional distress stemming from physical health issues. You will support clients in navigating their journeys toward wellness, providing them with the necessary tools to strengthen family bonds and improve relational dynamics during their recovery process.

• A valid Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of Massachusetts.
• A Master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a relatable field.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality in all therapeutic interactions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaborations within a multidisciplinary team.
• A deep passion and dedication to fostering emotional wellness and supporting clients throughout their rehabilitation journey.

• Experience working within a rehabilitation setting, preferably with individuals in recovery.
• Familiarity with telehealth tools and techniques, providing therapy services remotely.
• History of utilizing evidenced-based therapeutic frameworks in clinical practice.
