Position Overview

Nitor Solutions is seeking a Level 2+ Network Engineer to support and maintain network infrastructure across multiple client environments. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining secure and reliable network solutions while serving as a Tier 2/3 escalation point for advanced networking issues.
The ideal candidate has strong experience with Meraki, SonicWall, and Ubiquiti environments, along with familiarity with traditional Cisco networking platforms. Experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment and using ConnectWise Automate and ConnectWise PSA is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities


  • Deploy, configure, and maintain client LAN, WAN, and wireless networks

  • Administer and troubleshoot firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless infrastructure

  • Configure and support site-to-site and client VPN connectivity

  • Troubleshoot Layer 13 network issues across multiple client environments

  • Implement network changes including upgrades, firmware updates, and device replacements

  • Serve as Tier 2/3 escalation for network incidents

  • Monitor network performance and resolve outages or degradation

  • Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configuration standards

  • Assist with client onboarding, infrastructure projects, and network migrations

  • Collaborate with helpdesk and systems engineers to resolve complex issues

Required Qualifications


  • 37+ years of professional networking experience

  • Experience supporting networks in a multi-client or MSP environment

  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki (MX, MS, MR platforms)

  • Hands-on experience with SonicWall firewalls

  • Hands-on experience with Ubiquiti networking and wireless

  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking

  • Strong understanding of VLANs and subnetting

  • Strong understanding of routing and switching

  • Experience with DHCP and DNS

  • Experience configuring VPN technologies

  • Experience using ticketing and RMM tools

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with traditional Cisco networking (Catalyst, ISR, ASA)

  • Experience with ConnectWise Automate

  • Experience with ConnectWise PSA / Manage

  • Experience deploying SD-WAN solutions

  • Familiarity with Azure networking

  • Experience with network monitoring tools (PRTG, SNMP monitoring, etc.)

  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or vendor certifications (Meraki, SonicWall, Ubiquiti)
