100% remote. Individual must currently reside in the United States and be able to work in the central time zone.

This engagement focuses on providing advanced People Tools administration in support of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions 9.2, running on People Tools 8.61 and SQL Server 2022, hosted on Windows Server 2022.

About the Role:

This role will primarily support the PeopleSoft application infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, stability, and scalability of our People Tools environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep People Tools technical knowledge while also performing essential MS SQL Server database administration functions. This includes patching, environment refreshments, DMS execution, project migrations, and troubleshooting performance or integration issues across environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer, configure, and support PeopleSoft environments (Campus Solutions 9.2 / People Tools 8.61) across development, test, and production tiers.
Perform Change Assistant activities for applying People Tools patches and PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) image updates.
Conduct project migrations using App Designer, manage Data Mover scripts (DMS), compare reports, and perform object merges across environments: preferably with PHIRE.
Collaborate with developers and functional teams to support performance tuning and issue resolution in PeopleSoft components, App Engines, and integrations.
Monitor and maintain SQL Server 2022 databases, performing tuning, patching, backups, and high-availability configurations in support of PeopleSoft.
Document system architecture, deployment steps, backup/recovery procedures, and SOPs.
Contribute to proactive capacity planning and monitoring for PeopleSoft and SQL Server environments.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Extensive experience with People Tools (v8.58 or higher; 8.61 preferred) and Campus Solutions 9.2.
Experience supporting complex PeopleSoft environments in higher education.
Demonstrated expertise in Change Assistant, PUM image updates, and PeopleSoft environment refreshes.
Proficiency in MS SQL Server 2022 administration, tuning, and security practices.
Strong scripting and automation experience (PowerShell, batch scripting, SQL).
Proven ability to document processes and collaborate in cross-functional environments.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Five (5) years of progressive technical experience with PeopleSoft and MS SQL Server.
In-depth knowledge of MS SQL Server administration in on-premise environments.
