Motion in Mind Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our innovative and supportive team. In this full-time remote role, you will focus on providing specialized mental health care to individuals grappling with trauma, including those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Motion in Mind Counseling Center is a leading telehealth provider located in Mesa, Arizona. Our outpatient center prides itself on creating a safe and welcoming space for trauma survivors. This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, enabling you to provide high-quality care to clients from the comfort of your home. Our telehealth platform is designed to facilitate seamless interactions while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism. You will work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility in scheduling required based on client needs.

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to deeply understand clients' trauma histories and identify personalized treatment strategies.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on fostering trauma recovery, resilience, and overall mental health stability.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to assist clients in overcoming trauma.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and promote emotional healing.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and various healthcare professionals to deliver integrated and holistic care for clients, ensuring continuity and effectiveness of treatment.
• Provide essential crisis intervention and support during traumatic emergencies, demonstrating calmness and expertise in high-pressure situations.
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, equipping them with vital resources for further support.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, facilitating effective treatment transparency and quality assurance.
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development initiatives focused on enhancing trauma-informed practices.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to ensure the use of state-of-the-art techniques in treatment delivery.

Your work will primarily focus on clients who are trauma survivors. This includes individuals experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will be crucial in creating a therapeutic space that promotes healing and resilience. You will support clients through their emotional recovery journey, allowing them to reclaim their narrative and learn to live a fulfilling life.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state, ensuring adherence to professional practice standards.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in mental health counseling.
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders, treatment modalities, and resilience-building methods tailored to the needs of trauma survivors.
• Strong interpersonal skills, fostering a supportive and compassionate environment for clients while maintaining professionalism.
• Ability to manage high-stress situations with composure and clarity, utilizing critical thinking to address client needs effectively.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and software applications for efficient documentation and communication.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a cohesive approach to client care.

• Previous experience delivering trauma-informed therapies and interventions will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital communication tools is highly desirable.
