Job Description

UI/UX Visual Designer/Developer will create amazing user experiences.  Must have an eye for clean and functional design, possess superior UI/UX skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and user interfaces.
-UI or UX experience - Advanced - 3+ yrs exp
-Proficiency in HTML, CSS - Intermediate - 3 yrs exp
-Balsamiq Mockup - Intermediate - 2 yrs exp
-Photoshop - Intermediate - 2 yrs exp
-Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools - Intermediate - 2 yrs exp
-JavaScript for rapid Prototyping, AJAX - Beginner - 2 yrs exp

Responsibilities
-Collaborate with the Business Analysts  to define innovative solutions for the product owners and developers
-Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
-Present and defend designs to peers and executive level stakeholders
-Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
-Establish and promote design and usability guidelines, best practices and standards
-Establish a design process that fits within the Agile/Scrum development process for an expanding team

Qualifications

-3+ years of UI or UX experience
-A portfolio that shows a strong knowledge of UI/UX  design
-Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
-Proficiency in Balsamiq Mockup, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
-Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping, a plus.
-Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
-Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
-Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
-Up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies
-BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related
-Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process, a plus.

Preferred:
-Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and memory management and performance-tier architectures - Beginner - 1 yr exp.
-Agile/Scum development process - Intermediate - 2 yrs exp
