What are the typical daily responsibilities in remote monitoring?

In a Remote Monitoring position, your daily tasks usually involve overseeing system dashboards, analyzing alerts or data feeds, and responding to incidents as they arise. You may also be responsible for generating routine reports, documenting anomalies, and coordinating with on-site teams or technical support staff to resolve issues. Construction Superintendent / Nevada Qualifying Individual (QI)

Remote (U.S.) | 25-30% Company-Paid Travel to Nevada
$150,000-$225,000 Base + Bonus

We are partnering with a rapidly growing energy infrastructure company that develops, owns, and operates large-scale battery energy storage, solar, and distributed energy projects across the United States.

This is not a typical Construction Superintendent opportunity.

In addition to leading field construction activities on major renewable energy projects, this individual will serve as the company's Qualifying Individual (QI) under its Nevada Class B Contractor's License. This is a highly visible leadership position with significant responsibility and long-term growth potential.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as the company's designated Qualifying Individual (QI) for its Nevada Class B Contractor's License.
  • Lead field construction activities for utility-scale battery storage, solar, and other energy infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Oversee project scheduling, documentation, change orders, field reporting, and project closeout.
  • Monitor jobsite safety, quality control, and compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with project management, engineering, development, and executive leadership teams.
  • Support permitting, constructability reviews, and project planning.
  • Travel to Nevada project sites approximately 25-30% of the time. All business travel is company paid.
Required Qualifications

Applicants who do not meet the first three requirements will not be considered.

  • Active Nevada Class B Contractor's License
  • License must be active, unrestricted, and in good standing
  • Willing and eligible to serve as the company's Qualifying Individual (QI)
  • 5+ years of Construction Superintendent, Construction Manager, Project Manager, or comparable construction leadership experience
  • Strong experience managing subcontractors and multiple construction trades
  • Experience with project scheduling, budgets, documentation, and field execution
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25-30%
Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following industries is highly desirable:

  • Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
  • Utility-scale solar
  • Renewable energy
  • Electrical or power infrastructure
  • Utility construction
  • Industrial construction
  • Data centers
  • Mission-critical facilities
  • Large-scale infrastructure or EPC projects

The following certifications and experience are also considered strong pluses:

  • OSHA 30
  • PMP Certification
  • Additional contractor licenses in other states
  • Nevada permitting or utility interconnection experience
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary: $150,000-$225,000
  • Annual performance bonus opportunity
  • Additional project milestone bonus opportunities
  • Fully remote work environment when not traveling
  • Company-paid travel
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • HSA contribution
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid parental leave
  • Company-paid disability and life insurance
  • Monthly home office stipend
  • Cell phone reimbursement
  • Generous paid time off
  • Annual company offsite
Before You Apply

Please apply only if you can answer YES to the following questions:

  • Do you personally hold an active Nevada Class B Contractor's License?
  • Is your license unrestricted and in good standing?
  • Are you willing and eligible to serve as the Qualifying Individual (QI) for a new employer?
