Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health to identify specific needs and formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapy in one-on-one settings, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other modalities tailored to client needs.
• Collaborate with clients to establish realistic therapeutic goals, monitoring their progress and adapting treatment strategies as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Offer flexible teletherapy options for clients who prefer virtual sessions or face accessibility challenges, ensuring continuous support regardless of their location.
• Maintain meticulous, ethical documentation of client interactions and treatment progress, in compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary focus will be on a diverse clientele who seek help for various mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will be equipped to respond effectively to clients from various backgrounds, employing a culturally competent approach to therapy that respects their unique experiences and perspectives.

Qualifications

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a preference for candidates holding a master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
