Actualized Self Therapy is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) to join our team in providing exceptional mental health care through remote telehealth services. This position allows for remote work, providing flexibility and convenience for both our counselors and clients. Using our state-of-the-art telehealth platform, you will facilitate therapy sessions from the comfort of your home while maintaining a professional standard of care. Our working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand each client's unique needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, adapting your approach based on the client’s psychological requirements and life experiences.
• Help clients establish realistic therapy goals and monitor their progress, celebrating successes and adjusting strategies as necessary.
• Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, conferences, and reading industry literature to remain abreast of the latest therapeutic techniques.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to share strategies and insights for enhancing client care and outcomes.

As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor at Actualized Self Therapy, you will work primarily with a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds. Our clients may present with an array of challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and more. Your role will be crucial in addressing these challenges while fostering a supportive and empathetic therapeutic environment.

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Possession of an active Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) license in the state of Vermont.
• You must have at least two years of direct counseling experience, demonstrating competency in a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis on empathetic listening and client-focused treatment.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Experience working in a telehealth setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Experience with specific therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care.
