This remote role provides the flexibility to work from home, allowing you to create a conducive atmosphere tailored to your professional needs. With a set work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, you will be able to focus on delivering exceptional care to your clients without the constraints of commuting. Our telehealth facility provides secure and user-friendly access to clients, ensuring that you can engage with them seamlessly while maintaining the highest privacy and confidentiality standards.

• Conduct one-on-one virtual counseling sessions, utilizing your therapeutic skills to facilitate discussions that promote mental health awareness and emotional healing.
• Engage clients in meaningful conversations that encourage them to articulate their feelings and experiences, fostering an open and safe space for personal exploration.
• Assist clients in developing realistic and actionable goals that enhance their mental well-being, applying your knowledge to guide their progress effectively.
• Create tailored treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments and clinical evaluations, employing evidence-based methodologies to suit individual client needs.
• Utilize digital communication tools to track client progress, schedule sessions, and maintain records, ensuring thorough documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.

The diverse clientele at Positive Development Behavioral Counseling includes individuals from various backgrounds and age groups dealing with a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress management, and relationship issues. Our counselors are essential in helping clients navigate their unique situations, enhancing their coping strategies and overall resilience.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology.
• A valid and unrestricted professional counseling license (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) that allows for independent practice.
• Proven experience (at least 2 years) in creating and implementing personalized treatment plans for a diverse clientele.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills necessary for effective virtual interactions and building therapeutic rapport.
• Familiarity with digital therapy platforms and the ability to leverage technology to enhance the counseling process.

• Experience working in a telehealth environment, with an understanding of the nuances and challenges presented by remote therapy.
• Specialized training or certification in evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as CBT, DBT, or mindfulness approaches.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a client-centered focus.
