The Addiction Recovery Trauma Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team in a full-time, remote capacity. This position offers a flexible remote work setting, enabling you to engage with clients through virtual sessions. Despite the remote nature, you will be part of a close-knit outpatient team dedicated to ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Our work schedule typically runs from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility needed to accommodate clients' schedules. You will benefit from minimal administrative overhead, allowing you to dedicate more time to client interaction and clinical work.

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments utilizing evidence-based practices to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to promote healing and recovery.
• Maintain precise and confidential clinical documentation, adhering to HIPAA and regulatory standards to ensure client privacy and trust.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to care.
• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance clinical practices and ensure the highest quality of care.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in the mental health field to continually improve therapeutic techniques and client outcomes.

This role will primarily involve working with adults experiencing trauma-related mental health issues, anxiety, and depression. You will engage with a diverse client base, each with unique backgrounds and challenges. Your work will directly contribute to improving their mental health and overall quality of life by providing empathetic therapy and support.

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Oregon.
• Proven ability to apply solution-based psychotherapy interventions and techniques tailored to each client’s specific needs.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to build rapport and trust with clients effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities to address complex mental health concerns.

Previous experience in trauma-focused therapy or working within outpatient settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, alongside a commitment to continuous professional development in mental health practices, will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
