• Conduct detailed mental health assessments and screenings to identify patients' specific needs and establish personalized treatment plans.
• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques, addressing a wide range of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related issues.
• Facilitate online therapy groups and workshops that focus on topics such as mindfulness, coping strategies, and personal growth, promoting community support among patients.
• Collaborate with our healthcare team—including physicians, social workers, and other therapists—to coordinate care and ensure holistic support for patients.
• Engage in proactive outreach efforts, such as virtual mental health awareness campaigns and informative webinars, aimed at reducing stigma and improving access to care.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment modalities in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Our patient population is diverse, encompassing individuals of various ages, ethnicities, and backgrounds. The role focuses on understanding the unique challenges encountered by each patient and tailoring therapeutic interventions accordingly. As part of our commitment to holistic care, counselors will advocate for patients' needs both within and outside of the counseling sessions, helping them navigate resources available at Providence and in the broader community.

• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Psychologist.
• A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required; however, a Master's or Doctoral degree strongly preferred.
• Possess an in-depth understanding of mental health issues, particularly those affecting patients in a telehealth setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote collaborative environment.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and short-term therapy models suitable for remote therapy.
• Capability to manage a diverse caseload and effectively prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced work environment.

• Experience working with patients in a telehealth setting or providing remote mental health care.
• Prior involvement in community outreach or mental health advocacy initiatives.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with telehealth platforms.
