California Neurobehavioral Associates is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our growing team. Work Environment

This role offers a remote work setting with flexibility in scheduling. Our operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured yet adaptable environment for both you and your clients. While you'll operate primarily from your home office, you will also have the opportunity to utilize our outpatient office for client sessions as needed. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients to recognize signs, symptoms, and areas of concern relating to mental health disorders.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring individualized approaches that reflect their unique needs and goals.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions, utilizing evidence-based practices and appropriate therapeutic techniques to facilitate progress.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in all client interactions, adhering to ethical standards of practice.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians and psychiatrists, to provide integrated and comprehensive care.
  • Act as an advocate for clients in crisis situations, working swiftly to develop de-escalation strategies and emergency interventions.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through supervision, training, and participation in workshops to enhance therapeutic skills.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with individuals, couples, and families seeking support for a range of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and coping with life transitions. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, and understanding cultural sensitivities and individual experiences is essential in providing effective therapy.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • Active LMFT license in the state of California with no history of disciplinary actions.
  • Strong commitment to ethical practices, confidentiality, and professional integrity.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of a variety of therapeutic models and techniques appropriate for addressing mental health issues and relational challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
