Resilient Minds Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This critical role involves working directly with clients dealing with major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, providing vital therapeutic services in a supportive and collaborative environment.

This position supports a unique work setting within our hospice center, enabling you to engage with clients across various settings, from the comfort of their homes to community locations. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments for clients, facilitating evidence-based screenings to determine needs and appropriate interventions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that are aligned with client needs, preferences, and best practice therapeutic modalities.
  • Provide direct clinical services, including individual, group, and family therapy, ensuring that sessions are focused on the presenting issues and tailored to clients' unique circumstances.
  • Respond to crisis situations with timely interventions, offering support and crisis management strategies as necessary.
  • Collaborate actively as part of a multidisciplinary team to refine treatment approaches and enhance client outcomes, dedicating effort to shared goals and mutual trust.
  • Maintain detailed records of client progress, ensuring timely completion of documentation for reports and data submissions.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development initiatives to nurture your skills and adapt to evolving best practices in clinical social work.
  • Serve as an advocate for clients, ensuring they gain access to necessary linked services and supports within the community.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on clients facing major mental health challenges, including those with severe emotional disorders. You will work with a diverse client population, reflecting a variety of backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences. Delivering culturally competent services is essential, as you will frequently encounter individuals from varied traditions and beliefs serving as a foundation for effective therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications
  • A current, valid LCSW license in the state of Florida.
  • A Bachelorโ€™s degree from an accredited institution is required, with a Masterโ€™s degree in social work or a related field preferred.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
  • Demonstrated expertise in crisis assessment and intervention, risk assessment, and treatment planning.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage a diverse client caseload effectively.
  • A commitment to ethical practices and adherence to professional guidelines in clinical settings.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting working directly with mental health clients.
  • Experience in hospice or end-of-life care environment is a plus, given the unique nature of our clientele.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to USD 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
