As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your primary responsibilities will center around delivering psychotherapy services aimed at addressing various mental health concerns. Key tasks include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate patients’ mental health status and creating individualized treatment plans that are aligned with evidence-based practices.
• Implementing therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other innovative modalities tailored to meet the diverse needs and preferences of patients.
• Maintaining precise and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.

• Engaging in regular peer consultations and case review meetings to discuss patient progress and refine treatment strategies based on the latest mental health research.
• Educating patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources that support their journey toward improved mental wellness.
• Remaining informed about the evolving landscape of mental health treatment methodologies and integrating new insights into your practice for the benefit of your patients.

Your role will center around supporting patients within a hospice care context, where you will address complex emotional and psychological needs related to end-of-life issues. You will engage with a variety of patients and their families, providing compassionate support and mental health interventions to facilitate coping, communication, and peace during difficult times.

• Possession of a Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida.
• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience, specifically in providing psychotherapy services.
• Proficiency in solution-focused psychotherapy techniques and the application of best practices in mental health.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and critical thinking skills to navigate complex patient issues.
