Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS), remote sample analysis software, and quality control protocols is crucial. Excellent organizational skills, self-motivation, and effective virtual communication are valuable soft skills for this remote position. These capabilities ensure accurate, timely diagnostic testing and smooth collaboration with healthcare teams from a distance.

What else can I do with an MLT degree?

An MLT (Medical Laboratory Technician) degree allows you to work in clinical laboratories performing diagnostic tests, analyzing samples, and supporting healthcare teams. Graduates can also pursue further certifications or education to become Medical Laboratory Technologists (MLTs) or specialize in areas like microbiology, hematology, or molecular diagnostics.

What jobs in the US pay 300,000 a year?

Remote Medical Laboratory Technologists (MLTs) typically do not reach $300,000 annually; however, specialized roles such as laboratory directors, clinical laboratory managers, or professionals with advanced certifications and extensive experience in healthcare or biotech industries can earn salaries approaching or exceeding that amount. High-level executive positions in healthcare organizations or biotech companies may also reach this salary range, often requiring advanced degrees and leadership skills.

What is a Remote MLT job?

A Remote MLT (Medical Laboratory Technician) job allows technicians to perform laboratory testing and analysis from a remote location, typically by accessing lab systems digitally. These roles often involve reviewing and interpreting test results, ensuring quality control, and collaborating with healthcare professionals. Remote MLTs may work for diagnostic labs, hospitals, or telemedicine companies, leveraging technology to support patient care from a distance.

What are the typical challenges faced by a Remote Medical Laboratory Technician, and how can they be addressed?

One common challenge for Remote MLTs is ensuring clear and timely communication with on-site staff and supervising laboratory personnel, as much of the collaboration occurs virtually. Accurate handling and management of test data is also critical, requiring solid attention to detail and comfort with laboratory information systems. To overcome these challenges, Remote MLTs should establish strong digital communication habits, routinely participate in team meetings, and stay up to date on best practices for remote laboratory work. Many organizations provide special training and support for remote collaborations to help technicians stay connected and maintain quality standards.

Can medical lab techs work from home?

Medical laboratory technologists typically perform their work in clinical or laboratory settings due to the need for specialized equipment and handling of biological samples. While some tasks like data analysis or report review can be done remotely, most hands-on testing requires on-site presence, and remote work opportunities are limited in this field.

Schedule: Primarily standard business hours, with flexibility for occasional evening or weekend work tied to travel
Travel: Periodic travel required for conferences, site visits, and team meetings across our footprint

About the Role

Adaugeo Healthcare Solutions is growing, and we're looking for a Healthcare Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. This role supports full-cycle recruiting across our family of companies, Praxis Health primary care clinics,Interpath Laboratory and Adaugeo Healthcare Solutions (the administrative arm of our companies), filling everything from clinical support and lab roles to operational and leadership positions, Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.

You'll work closely with hiring managers across Oregon, Washington, and Idaho, from clinics near the Willamette Valley to lab operations across the Inland Northwest, building the kind of candidate experience that makes a great first impression of who we are. We run a lean team, so flexibility matters here: priorities shift, and this person needs to be ready to flex across roles and companies to keep coverage strong.

What You'll Do
  • Own full-cycle recruiting for non-provider roles across Praxis Health, Interpath Laboratory, and Adaugeo, from clinical support and lab positions (MLS/MLT, Histology, Cytology) to operational and leadership roles
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role needs and deliver a strong, well-vetted candidate slate
  • Build and maintain a multi-channel sourcing strategy, including direct outreach, referrals, and job boards, to keep a strong pipeline moving
  • Guide candidates through the process with clear, consistent communication so they stay engaged and informed
  • Represent Adaugeo, Praxis, and Interpath at conferences, job fairs, and team meetings as needed
  • Maintain accurate, clean data in our applicant tracking system to support reporting and process improvement
  • Flex across roles, companies, and priorities as team needs shift, stepping in to cover teammates and support other areas of recruiting on a lean, fast-moving team
  • Support provider recruiting as needed, based on business needs
  • Leverage AI tools and ATS functionality to drive recruiting efficiency, from sourcing and screening to pipeline management and reporting
What You Bring
  • Three or more years of full-cycle recruitment experience, with a track record of building and executing sourcing strategies
  • Minimum 1 year of healthcare recruitment experience required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage passive candidates and present to groups
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple open roles and priorities at once
  • Comfortable working independently on a collaborative team, with the flexibility to pivot across roles, companies, and shifting priorities as needed
  • High level of proficiency with applicant tracking systems (we use Greenhouse) and AI tools for recruiting efficiency and optimization
  • Familiarity with EEO guidelines and general employment law as it relates to hiring
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Physical Requirements

This role typically involves extended periods of sitting and computer use, with occasional stress related to deadlines and work volume. Some travel is required, including driving and/or air travel to conferences, clinic sites, and team meetings.

Adaugeo Healthcare Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
