Job Title: K-8 School Speech Language Pathologist

Location: Federal Way WA area
Job Type: W2 contract
Sunbelt Staffing, a leading healthcare staffing agency, is currently seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and provide exceptional services to a school district. This is a contract position, offering a great opportunity to work with a supportive team of professionals and make a positive impact on the lives of students.
Job Details:

  • Full time
  • Elementary and middle school caseload


Responsibilities may include:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement strategies to support student progress
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in accordance with state and federal regulations


Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited program
  • Washington SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Washington ESA Educator license
  • Prior experience in a school setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
