We are seeking a driven and experienced Outside Salesperson to join our team, serving the States of
Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska and North Dakota. This is a remote position that requires travel to the assigned territory.
This full-time position plays a dual role-leading new business development and client relationship growth, while also overseeing contract creation, compliance, and lifecycle management.
The ideal candidate will bring proven success in metals distribution sales, strong interpersonal skills, and a keen eye for detail in contract oversight. Regular travel (up to 80% daily with some overnight) within the territory is required to build and maintain customer relationships.
Responsibilities
  • Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities in the Midwest region.
  • Manage and grow existing client accounts with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct client visits, site assessments, and product/service presentations.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets
  • Provide market intelligence and feedback to internal teams.
  • Prepare, negotiate, and manage customer contracts ensuring alignment with company policies and compliance requirements.
  • Track key dates, obligations, pricing terms, and renewal timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (legal, operations, finance) to streamline contract workflows and approvals.
