Job Title: Microsoft Dynamics Sales & Partnerships Director
Location: Hybrid in Pittsburgh, PA 15205 (3 Days On-Site / 2 Days Remote) | OR | Remote (1st preference – EST; 2nd preference – CST) with some travel to Pittsburgh, PA.
Work Schedule/Shift: Monday to Friday, Standard business hours | Minimum expectation of ~40 work hours per week.

Additional Info: This is a front-line, quota-carrying role focused on net-new revenue generation, Microsoft partnership expansion, and enterprise deal execution centered on Microsoft Dynamics and AI-enabled transformation initiatives.

Position Overview:
 This role supports CEI’s continued expansion as an AI-first engineering and transformation company, with a focus on growing its Microsoft ecosystem presence and enterprise client footprint. The position is part of a sales and partnerships organization responsible for driving strategic growth through new client acquisition, partner collaboration, and large-scale transformation initiatives. The individual will work closely with internal sales leadership, solution architects, and delivery teams, while also engaging externally with Microsoft stakeholders and enterprise clients. The team operates in a highly collaborative, performance-driven environment with clear alignment between revenue generation, partnership strategy, and delivery execution. At a high level, this individual is responsible for building pipeline from scratch, developing relationships within the Microsoft ecosystem, and leading complex deal cycles from initial engagement through closure. The role requires direct engagement with enterprise clients, ownership of sales strategy within target markets, and close coordination with internal teams to shape and deliver solutions. Success in this role is measured by the ability to generate new business, expand partnerships, and drive long-term client value through strategic engagements.
Required Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
  • 10–15+ years of experience in enterprise technology sales with a focus on hunting & net-new logos/business development
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets within a consulting, systems integration, or services-based environment
  • Demonstrated experience closing large, complex Microsoft Dynamics (D365) deals
  • Experience building, managing, and monetizing Microsoft partnerships and co-sell initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 (CRM, ERP)
  • Experience working with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
  • Familiarity with cloud ecosystems, with preference for Microsoft Azure
  • Understanding of AI/ML integration within enterprise solutions
  • Strong executive presence with ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders (CIO, CTO, CFO)
  • Experience leading full sales lifecycle including prospecting, pipeline generation, negotiation, and deal closure
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with evolving priorities

Day to Day/Responsibilities:
  • Develop a structured plan to identify and target net-new enterprise accounts, focusing on whitespace opportunities and industries aligned with CEI’s Microsoft Dynamics and AI capabilities
  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities including outreach, account research, and stakeholder mapping to build a self-generated sales pipeline
  • Engage directly with executive stakeholders (CIO, CTO, CFO) to understand business challenges and position Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and AI-driven transformation solutions
  • Lead discovery conversations to define client needs, uncover opportunities, and align solutions to measurable business outcomes
  • Collaborate with internal pre-sales and solution teams to design tailored proposals, develop solution architectures, and support technical demonstrations
  • Manage full deal lifecycle from initial engagement through negotiation and contract execution, ensuring alignment between client expectations and delivery capabilities
  • Build and maintain relationships within the Microsoft ecosystem, including field sellers, partner managers, and alliance teams to drive co-sell opportunities
  • Develop and execute joint go-to-market strategies with Microsoft stakeholders, leveraging partner programs and incentives to accelerate deal flow
  • Identify and pursue co-sell opportunities by aligning CEI’s offerings with Microsoft’s strategic initiatives and customer priorities
  • Partner with marketing teams to support campaigns, events, and demand generation activities that drive pipeline growth
  • Participate in industry events, Microsoft forums, and executive briefings to represent CEI and strengthen market presence
  • Continuously monitor trends across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, and AI technologies to refine sales strategies and client messaging
  • Work closely with delivery teams to ensure successful project execution, client satisfaction, and opportunities for account expansion
  • Provide ongoing feedback to internal stakeholders regarding market conditions, client needs, and solution gaps to support offering development
  • Track pipeline performance, revenue metrics, and deal progress to ensure alignment with sales targets and organizational goals
