Position Overview

Micro Precision Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated, full-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team. This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexible scheduling while engaging with clients through telehealth and outpatient services. Work Environment

Enjoy a full-time, remote work setting that promotes a healthy work-life balance. Our flexible schedule includes working Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You will be part of a close-knit, supportive, and transparent team that values open communication and teamwork while allowing you the independence to set your client schedule according to your preferences and needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to diagnose clients and to create effective, individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering improvement and resilience.
  • Maintain a manageable caseload of 25-30 client visits each week, providing therapy services that include individual, family, and group sessions tailored to the unique needs of each client.
  • Document all ongoing assessments, treatment plans, reviews, and case notes accurately to comply with industry standards and company policies, ensuring a clear and cohesive record of client progress.
  • Exhibit creativity in developing interventions and therapeutic strategies to help clients exceed their personal goals while engaging in evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including case managers, family members, medical professionals, and educators, to coordinate holistic services for clients.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a strong rapport with clients to support ongoing engagement in their treatment journey.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, couples, and families. Given the variety of backgrounds and experiences among clients, the ability to connect with individuals from diverse cultures and lifestyles is essential to creating a safe and encouraging therapeutic environment.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
  • Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of family therapy models and community resources available to support clients.
  • Proficient experience in handling mental health documentation, including diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills are necessary to convey important information clearly and compassionately.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working with children, adolescents, couples, and families in various therapeutic settings.
  • Comfortable with collecting fees at the time of service and navigating billing and insurance processes.
