Pinnacle Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic mental health team. • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.
• Collaborate with clients to craft personalized treatment plans that reflect their individual goals, preferences, and identified needs.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to treat clients' mood disorders effectively.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care practices to enhance their understanding and engagement.
• Continuously monitor client progress by tracking symptoms and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and address broader health needs.
• Stay informed on the latest research and methodologies in mood disorder treatment to continuously improve therapeutic approaches.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records aligned with ethical and legal standards governing client information.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and training sessions to enhance collaborative care and professional development opportunities.
• Advocate for clients' rights and needs, addressing mental health stigma while supporting their journey toward recovery and empowerment.

Your role will primarily involve working with individuals grappling with mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You may also interact with vulnerable populations such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence, providing them with specialized support that promotes healing and recovery. Each interaction is pivotal in shaping their treatment journey, as you provide not only therapeutic interventions but also compassion and understanding.

• An active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusting therapeutic relationships with clients through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A strong sense of empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude toward the experiences and struggles of clients.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to effectively balance clinical responsibilities and administrative tasks.

• Experience working with mood disorders, particularly in diverse community settings, is highly desirable.
• Previous involvement in group therapy sessions and family therapy is a plus, adding depth to your clinical practice.
• Familiarity with integrated care models and collaborative approaches to mental health service delivery can enhance your effectiveness in this role.

• The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
