Full-time

Job description

Lead Media Buyer (Google & Meta) – PE‑Backed Legal Services | Remote (US)

$144K–$192K + Competitive Equity | Contract (20 hrs/week) | High‑Growth, Tech‑Forward Legal Firm

A fast‑growing, PE‑backed legal services organization is searching for a Lead Media Buyer to own paid acquisition strategy and scale national campaigns across Google and Meta. This team operates like a performance marketing fund—deploying capital with precision, optimizing to downstream revenue, and managing $250K–$1M/month in ad spend.

You'll join a lean, analytics‑driven marketing group that manages multi‑channel acquisition, a high‑volume intake operation, and large‑scale advertising programs for both internal and external law firm clients. The environment is fast, data‑heavy, and built for operators who treat every dollar like their own.

This company is vertically integrated across the full client‑acquisition funnel—from ad placement to signed retainers. You'll directly influence cost per retainer, creative strategy, budget allocation, and daily performance outcomes. If you thrive in high‑intent lead gen, legal marketing, or mass tort acquisition, this is a rare opportunity to step into a player‑coach role with real financial upside.

What You'll Own
  • Manage and optimize $250K–$1M/month in Google & Meta spend with a focus on cost per retainer, not just CPL
  • Lead and mentor a media buyer; guide channel strategy, creative testing, and budget decisions
  • Run structured creative tests, kill underperformers quickly, and eliminate unforced spend waste
  • Partner closely with intake to tighten the feedback loop between lead quality, DQ reasons, and campaign adjustments
  • Report daily on CAC, conversion rates, volume, and pull‑through metrics
  • Build, launch, and scale campaigns across Google, Bing, Meta, TikTok, and OTT/CTV
  • Continuously rebalance budgets across channels, geos, audiences, and claim types
  • Maintain attribution accuracy, conversion tracking, call tracking, and CRM alignment

What You Bring
  • 5–12 years managing paid digital acquisition at $250K+/month
  • Hands‑on Google Ads & Meta Ads expertise (not a strategist who delegates)
  • Agency background or experience delivering client budgets on time and on target
  • Player‑coach leadership style—comfortable managing a buyer while staying deep in the data
  • Experience in legal, mass tort, personal injury, or high‑intent lead gen preferred

Hard Skills

  • Google Ads, Meta Ads, Bing Ads, TikTok Ads
  • Down‑funnel optimization (CPA, cost per retainer)
  • Structured creative testing & iteration
  • Audience, geo, bid, and placement optimization

Soft Skills

  • Proactive daily communicator
  • High urgency with spend
  • Detail‑obsessed, analytical, and comfortable owning KPIs end‑to‑end

Role Details
  • Compensation: $144K–$192K + competitive equity
  • Location: Remote (US‑based preferred)
  • Visa: Sponsorship not available
  • Hiring: 1 candidate

Why Candidates Love This Firm
  • PE‑backed with major financial support and significant capital to deploy
  • Operates like a tech‑forward performance marketing fund
  • Team backgrounds in analytics, finance, and management consulting
  • Fully remote across 10+ states and 5 countries
  • Real upside: performance bonuses, equity, and potential path to full‑time
