This role is responsible for delivering end-to-end software solutions across the front-end, middleware, back-end, API, and cloud infrastructure layers while ensuring adherence to architecture standards, security requirements, and software development best practices. The Full Stack Engineer will collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions that drive mission outcomes. The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering expertise, cloud-native application development experience, and a passion for leveraging modern technologies—including AI-enabled tools—to accelerate development, testing, and deployment activities.

What will you do in this role?

§ Be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying end-to-end (front-end, middleware, back-end), cloud hosted / cloud native applications and solutions.

§ Collaborating with federal technical and business leads to understanding business and technical requirements, problem statements, goals and objectives

§ Taking ownership of software engineering and SDLC tasks including code repo management, Agile development practices, complying with coding and design standards, delivering unit / system tested artifacts

§ Assist in maintaining the end-to-end cloud hosted / cloud native applications and solutions

What do you need to succeed in this role?

§ 10-20+ years of overall software, distributed systems, and cloud native system development experience

§ Coding standards (Google JavaScript / JSON style guide, PEP 8 style guide)

§ Practical knowledge of implementing design patterns (GOF, Others) and application architecture frameworks (micro services, event driven, three-tier, service oriented)

§ 5-10+ years’ experience in design, development, deployment experience in APIs, API gateways, and API security technologies.

§ 1-2+ years of using AI tools responsibly, particularly for accelerating unit and system testing

§ SME in cloud native application architecture including serverless application designs and deployments, cloud formation or terraform scripts

§ 5-10+ years of in-depth, hands-on experience with one or more web application frameworks and programming languages - Angular, React, Python, NodeJS, Rust

§ Minimum of 5 years in-depth, hands-on experience with one or more cloud tech stacks, including virtual network architecture, design, implementation and management - AWS / Google (preferred), AZURE / Oracle

§ Hands-on experience in using tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, JFrog

In addition, specific skills/experience required are as follows:

§ Values driven – You embody and model absolute integrity and servant leadership and you have a bias for action and continuous innovation.

§ Uncompromising problem solver – You see opportunities in every business challenge and can develop, articulate and implement solutions.

§ Collaboration – You are a relationship builder across all levels of the organization and across all business units.

§ Instills trust – You do what you say, without ego, and you follow through on commitments consistently and credibly.

§ Impact & influence – You are relentlessly focused on making a difference and can gain support for ideas, proposals and solutions. You get others to act, with or without formal authority, to advance initiatives and objectives.
