Job description

Senior Designer, Packaging & Retail

Beam is one of the fastest-growing wellness brands in the U.S., with products that support better sleep, gut health, hormonal health, kids nutrition, focus, recovery, and everyday wellness. As we continue to expand across retail, ecommerce, and new product categories, we're looking for a Senior Packaging Designer to help scale and maintain our growing portfolio.

In this role, you’ll own the day-to-day design needs across Beam’s packaging portfolio and retail presence, supporting everything from formula updates and compliance packaging revisions to retail launches, in-store merchandising, signage, out-of-home, events, and sales materials. You’ll help ensure Beam shows up consistently and thoughtfully across every retail touchpoint, whether it’s on shelf, at an event, or in market.

This role is ideal for someone who loves the intersection of design, systems, and execution. You’ll work closely across channels and external partners to ensure all packaging, print, and retail assets are accurate, on-brand, and production-ready.

What You’ll Do
  • Own packaging adaptations across existing and new formats, dielines, pack sizes, and retail configurations.
  • Own the design execution of Beam’s retail ecosystem, including in-store displays, shelf assets, signage, out-of-home, event materials, sell sheets, retail mockups, and merchandising requests.
  • Support both print and digital requests tied to retail launches, customer meetings, events, and sales opportunities.
  • Prepare, review, and finalize production-ready files while ensuring accuracy across artwork, copy, claims, and printer specifications.
  • Maintain packaging systems, retail asset templates, file organization, and documentation to support a rapidly growing product portfolio.
  • Ensure Beam shows up consistently across every retail touchpoint, from pack to shelf to event to out-of-home.
What You Are
  • 3–6+ years of design experience, preferably within CPG, food & beverage, supplements, wellness, or consumer health brands.
  • Strong understanding of packaging production, printing processes, prepress requirements, and dieline management.
  • Strong understanding of retail production across out-of-home, signage, displays, print specs, vendor handoff, and final file delivery.
  • Experience managing high volumes of packaging revisions across multiple SKUs and product lines.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a systems-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with both creative and operational stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting retail packaging and merchandising initiatives is a plus.
  • Experience implementing large-scale packaging refreshes or rebrands is a plus.
