The Citrus Psychotherapy Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, including preliminary interviews and the documentation of treatment progress from the initial consultation to conclusion.
  • Assess clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health status, using evidence-based tools and methodologies.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive intervention and recovery plans tailored to the specific needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques to engage clients effectively.
  • Monitor client progress continually throughout the treatment process, adjusting plans as necessary to enhance outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, and medical professionals, to establish and execute integrated intervention plans.
  • Proactively follow up with psychiatrists for clients requiring medication management and those who are hospitalized, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Identify barriers to recovery, implementing strategies to mitigate any behaviors or environmental factors that may impede progress.
  • Offer support and guidance to family members and caregivers, equipping them with tools to manage their loved ones' mental health challenges effectively.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

Compensation and Benefits
