Job description

Position Overview

Inspired Life Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. This full-time role will empower you to deliver quality mental health support to clients nationwide through a user-friendly online platform, allowing you to focus on what you do best—counseling—while we manage the administrative aspects of your practice.

About the Organization

Inspired Life Counseling Services is committed to providing exceptional mental health care to individuals seeking support and guidance through challenging times. Our organization prides itself on a client-centered approach, where we prioritize the well-being of our clients every step of the way. As a rapidly growing telehealth service, we believe in leveraging technology to enhance access to mental health resources, helping clients achieve their emotional and psychological goals effectively and efficiently.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to create a dedicated workspace that suits your professional needs. You will receive ongoing support from our operational team, which ensures that all administrative tasks—including appointment scheduling, client intake, and billing—are handled seamlessly. Our outpatient office approach allows for flexible scheduling while maintaining a strong focus on client outcomes, ensuring that you have the resources to thrive in your role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct virtual mental health evaluations for new and existing clients, developing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to track and meet therapeutic milestones, adjusting techniques and goals as necessary to facilitate progress.
  • Engage in telehealth sessions that accommodate clients’ schedules, ensuring that their mental health needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Maintain meticulous, timely clinical documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to ethical standards.
  • Participate in continuing education opportunities to refine clinical skills, stay updated with the latest advancements in mental health care, and enhance service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with low-acuity clients who have been pre-screened for their mental health needs. This sets a collaborative and focused environment, allowing you to provide effective counseling for a diverse range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, and transitional life challenges. Your contributions will directly impact the well-being and quality of life of individuals seeking support across the country.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
  • Active and valid licensure in the state of Tennessee as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) without any disciplinary history.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical practice experience is essential, with a strong foundation in providing therapeutic services.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a telehealth setting is highly preferred, as you will be delivering services primarily through virtual platforms.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient client management and documentation.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work independently while being part of a remote team-focused environment.
Compensation and Benefits

Inspired Life Counseling Services offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Full health care coverage, encompassing medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Paid leave, including sick and vacation time, along with life insurance support.
  • A 401(k) retirement plan to help you plan for your future.
Career Growth Opportunities

As part of our team, you will have access to abundant opportunities for professional development and career advancement. Continuous training sessions, workshops, and seminars allow you to expand your expertise, potentially leading to leadership roles within Inspired Life Counseling Services or specialized areas of practice. We believe in fostering our employees’ growth alongside the growth of our organization.
