About the Role

Location: Remote

Schedule:

  • Mountain Time: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Eastern Time: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Provider Credentialing Specialist to join our team! In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting provider onboarding, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and helping ensure timely reimbursement through efficient credentialing and enrollment processes.

What You’ll Do
  • Verify provider credentials, including licenses, certifications, education, training, and work history
  • Confirm board certifications and review malpractice history
  • Review pending credentialing files to determine readiness for credentialing board submission
  • Support provider onboarding and enrollment processes
  • Maintain accurate records in credentialing systems
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulatory standards
  • Help facilitate EDI, EFT, and ERA setup for provider reimbursement workflows

What You Bring

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare credentialing or provider enrollment
  • Experience with credentialing systems such as CAQH, PECOS, or Availity
  • Working knowledge of EDI, EFT, and ERA processes
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
