Job description

Contract Physician - Part-Time IV Lounge Support

Position Type: Independent Contractor, Part-Time

About the Role: We are seeking a licensed physician to provide medical oversight and support for our IV wellness lounge. This part-time contract position offers flexible scheduling for a qualified medical professional to supervise IV therapy services and ensure patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient consultations and medical assessments prior to IV therapy
  • Review and approve individualized IV treatment protocols
  • Prescribe medications and IV formulations as clinically appropriate
  • Review and interpret laboratory results for treatment planning
  • Provide ongoing medication management and monitoring
  • Ensure compliance with state medical board regulations and facility protocols
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records
  • Collaborate with nursing staff on patient care protocols
  • Handle medical emergencies or adverse reactions as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Active medical license in [California and or Virginia]
  • Board certification preferred
  • Experience with IV therapy, vitamin supplementation, or wellness medicine preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Current malpractice insurance

Work Arrangement:
